Views of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands

I’ve been to St. Thomas, one of the US Virgin Islands, several times, and I never tire of taking in its wonderful scenery of green hills, white sand beaches, and sparkling blue water. I think I may go back there one day and stay for a week or two, to soak in more of the island than a cruise-stop allows.

It’s a beautiful island, and is definitely worth visiting if you have the opportunity. And the sun! Oh, the sun! What more needs to be said about that?

A lovely white-sand beach.

My daughter and I rode these tram cars during our visit to St. Thomas in 2011

St. Thomas is 'hilly', but gorgeous.

Have you visited St. Thomas? What are your thoughts of this island in the Caribbean? Do you have photos you’d like to share? Consider doing a ‘guest post’ here–just drop me a note. Thanks.

I was in St. Thomas about 10 years ago and it was the most beautiful place I have ever been! I hope to someday return and fingers crossed I will! Your pictures are lovely and brought me back to incredible memories of the gorgeous scenery and free spirited feelings, thanks!

    • Ginger–isn’t it gorgeous there? I really want to rent a place on the island for a week or so and just soak in the atmosphere…maybe do some writing, too…wouldn’t that be fun? I hope you get to return there, too!

Yes it is heavenly and staying there for more than a few hours sounds even better! Especially the writing part. Basking in good energy, sun, and inspiration all around. Imagine all that could be happily accomplished! I hope you get back there soon, too!
